Introducing our new fresh crop Award winning cup of Excellence Organic Ethiopian coffee!
Daye Bensa exports coffee from its farm, in the Shantawene Village, as well as from ‘‘out-growers’’ in other two villages: Karamo and Bombe.
This Shantawene coffee is named after the village, where majority of the people, many of them women, works on the coffee farm.
All three farms are Certified Organic and C.A.F.E. practices (coffee and farm equity). Daye Bensa is always working for an additional certifications and Worldwide recognition.
Going forward they are hoping to work more with local farmers, especially women coffee farmers, and to work with Hawassa University, to help students perform research to improve coffee quality.
This coffee has an elegant acidity with honey like sweetness, a juicy body and flavours of blueberry, bright citrus and floral notes.
We selected this coffee for its high quality and exceptional taste! Super summery and fruity!!
