Nude’s new Geisha blend is a carefully crafted blend sourced and handpicked from two of Nariño’s most distinctive terroirs: the Inga Indigenous Reserve of Aponte — known for rich, volcanic soils and exceptional fruity profiles — and Samaniego — an area that exhibits unique, mineral rich soils that contribute towards refined citrus elements and enhanced floral expressions.
The combined cherries, selectively handpicked to ensure only fully ripe cherries are harvested, are transported to Buesaco municipality for a washed, and extended must fermentation process. This process incorporates sugarcane, hops and specially selected yeasts followed by a 210-hour fermentation, and slow patio drying. This all results in a highly expressive Geisha with layered sweetness and an elegant, citrus acidity that compliments the complex floral, aromatic structure.
The extensive knowledge of the farmers and processing personnel directly reflects the extraordinary, unique biodiversity and craftsmanship that continues to thrive in Nariño.
