La Reforma represents a very exciting journey for us at Nude Coffee Roasters. We have been purchasing coffee from the El Borbollon mill as a staple of the east blend for five years now. This started by chance, one of the members of the family that owns Finca La Reforma and the El Borbollon mill saw a sack of her coffee on the wall of our Hanbury street café. This moment triggered what is now a great relationship with the Alvarez family

Throughout the last five years we have seen the quality of the coffee increase exponentially, this being the highest we have ever scored an El Salvador coffee. Reforma has been dry processed, meaning the coffee was dried inside its cherry on raised beds in the shade for 12 days. It was meticulously turned by hand every hour to ensure even fermentation.

Expect a very clean and fruit driven flavour. We are getting lots of sweet strawberry, think pink shrimp sweets. Tropical fruit acidity and a perfumed rose finish reminiscent of Turkish delight.
