Montevideo is 140 hectares of land covered with coffee and shade trees. This lot is comprised of Bourbon and Typica varieties, they also grow Pacas, Pacamara and Geisha varietals. The farm is located on Cantón Alvarez and can be quickly accessed from San Salvador. Its altitude ranges from 1400 to 1,600 masl.
The views from this farm are breathtaking; from its slopes you can oversee the pacific shoreline and the eastern part of El Salvador along with a chain of wonderful volcanos. The cool climate here allows for slow maturation and its rich volcanic soils are ideal for producing excellent coffee. This has given the coffee sweet berry flavours alongside citric acidity and a caramel finish.
